Nominated in 2023 for Best Music at the Vancouver Film Festival for the short film “LUCID” starring John Hannah (“Four Weddings And A Funeral”, “Black Mirror”).

After starting classical piano lessons at age 7, Alexander fell in love with jazz and at age 13 was playing saxophone with big bands and rock bands with his brother in his hometown in Norway.

His love for film music grew during his teens, and after completing his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance in Toronto, and was immediately after graduating picked up to be mentored for 3 years by Juno and Canadian Screen Awards winner, Trevor Yuile ("Orphan Black").

During his years in Toronto he worked on projects with the likes of The Weeknd, and Jonathan Goldsmith ("Away With Her").

He soon thereafter moved to Los Angeles to work more in film and TV and has music on networks such as Discovery, Nat Geo, ABC, NBC, MTV amongst many more. 

Alexander now currently works out of his studio in the Hollywood Hills.
